Review of The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption (2012) by Kimberly B — 12 Feb 2012
I was pleasantly surprised with this one and although it is true about it low budget, it still delivers thanks to its sexy, alluring, major hunk of Victor Webster! Webster exudes masculinity, strength, charm to drive the female viewers to another world.
.I watched this one in blu-ray so it added to the realism. On this installment, Mathayus' (Victor Webster) kindgom has fallen and he lost his queen, becoming bitter and jaded over the loss of his loved one.
Now he is a mercenary in Egypt which is divided into three kingdoms, one belonging to Talus, one to Horus and one to Ramusan. Talus' army grows to such an extent that he wishes to conquer Horus' Kingdom and to do so, he wants to steal the Book of the Dead from Ramusan.
To stop Talus, Horus hires Mathayus. In turn, Talus kidnaps Ramusan' daughter, Silda. Ramusan then tells Mathayus that if he can save his daughter, he will have the right to wed her and once again raise a kingdom in Egypt.
Interesting storyline. If you like ancient mysteries, legends, romance and some good entertainment, search no more for Scorpion King 3 delivers!
