Standard action movie. Good fighting action. Rather entertaining. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a skillful assassin and were tasked to capture a sorcerer of a evil ruler Steven Brand. The remaining tribes have no fight against his armies.

On the mission, Dwayne's 2 other partners got killed. Kelly Hu turns out to be the sorcerer or in this case sorceress. She is a real hot beauty. He also got caught but was advise by Kelly not to do so by his own hands or the army.

So he and another guy Grant Heslov were buried until only the head is exposed and to let the fire ants eat them alive. But amazingly Grant manage to escape and save Dwayne. This time round he goes back into the city and caught Kelly.

She tried to escape at first but change her mind, knowing he will lead to the freedom of the people. Steven smear scorpion poison on an arrow and give to his minion to find them and kill him. Dwayne got hit by it but Kelly uses her magic powers to save him.

At the utopia drinking water, they were caught by Michael Clarke Duncan's troops. They fight and Dwayne won. Kelly has vision of the total annilation of everybody and decides to leave and go back.

Dwayne and Michael work together for the final showdown agaist the evil ruler. Just as the good guys were winning, more enemies troops arrive. Dwayne take out the arrow shot onto his back and shoot at Steven who couldn't block it this time dies.

He became the new ruler.
