Review of The Scorpion King (2002) by Daniel K — 06 Aug 2010
While its not as good as both of 'The Mummy' films, its definitley an entertaining film thanks to a lead like 'The Rock' taking the reigns. Dwayne Johnson leads an impressive cast with an action-packed storyline as he tries to take on Memnon, with the help of his sorceress Cassandra.
Like 'The Mummy' films there is a nice blend of Action and Comedy, though the 'corny' factor is much higher in the film. Overall a fun film with plenty to enjoy that should please fans of 'The Mummy Returns'.
