Review of The Scorpion King (2002) by Tom T — 13 Sep 2010
The Scorpion King tells us the story of how an assassin became one of the greatest kings of his time. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays the lead role in this prequel to The Mummy series and does a good job at showing us his action star potential.
However the film has a lot of humor which results in not being able to take the film as serious as you'd like to. Making it into a bit of a big joke. That is its only big flaw. But apart from that The Scorpion King is a good simple action flick that holds a three out of five star rating.
