Review of The Scorpion King (2002) by Dwight B — 19 Jan 2009
Nothing particularly special. The Rock was pretty good in this â??Mummyâ?? prequel. He did his action scenes very well, but the acting was very subdued. Overall, the story was pretty good, but a lot of the action sequences fell a little flat.
The finale was pretty good, with a few separate elements coming together at once. None of the other characters really stood out to me, with the exception of the Sorceress, played by Kelly Hu, and the comic relief horse thief Arpid, played by Grant Heslov.
