Review of The Science of Sleep (2006) by Noah H — 19 Jul 2009
Probably Michel Gondry's most complex and most creative among his works. Gondry never slips when it comes to creating imaginative and whimsical visuals and this shows that he is a master of surrealism.
Though the story can be jumpy and doesn't flow as well, there are many cute and heart aching moments. The couple in focus can go from cute to fun to downright irritating as both of them play each other deceptively and almost cruelly.
Not as masterful as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but still recommendable.
