Review of The Science of Sleep (2006) by Steve Z — 17 Oct 2009
Very strange, but when you stop thinking of it as weird and foreign, the message it brings about is quite intriguing. It really makes you think about how you view your world and the way you interact with people.
The technique of showing the inner machinations of Gael's character's mind really progresses the story. Without that, the film would be confusing and pointless. It makes you consider what you desire versus what you show the world versus what the world sees.
A great film to add to anyone's collection of philosophical features.
