Review of The Science of Sleep (2006) by Daniel A — 15 Nov 2011
Michel Gondry's ability to blend a love story between two emotionally complicated characters with whimsically colorful creativity is on display here, much like in Eternal Sunshine. And although The film may possess a story of lesser quality than Eternal Sunshine, the visuals (especially Stephane's dream sequences) are almost enough to make you forget.
Michel Gondry is the Terry Gilliam of good movie-making.
