Review of The Sci-Fi Boys (2006) by Lanky Man P — 23 Sep 2012
This documentary is an affectionate look at the science fiction and horror movies of the 30s, 40s, and 50s; the people who made said films, as well as a tribute to Forrest J. Ackerman, who founded and edited "Famous Monsters of Filmland", a magazine on the subject of sci-fi and horror films which most of the filmmakers featured in this documentary latched onto as boys.
I liked this documentary, it was nice to see how passionate these now famous directors and make-up artists were even as kids about films and monster movies.
