Review of The Savages (2007) by Ryan H — 01 Feb 2009
I was expecting a lot more comedic moments. Overall it was a good movie. The only problem is that I almost hated Wendy Savage too much to really care about what happened to her. I felt like they made her so bad that it was hard to connect, or even want to connect, with her character.
The acting was great and the characters are well developed. Even in the scenes that I laughed I still felt a sense of sadness.
