Review of The Savages (2007) by Kyle S — 21 Apr 2009
With just the right blend of comedy and drama, this a film for some serious actors to sink their teeth into. Linney and Hoffman are great as always with Hoffman taking a slightly more supporting role. The fact I couldn't empathize with the characters downplayed it's impact on me a touch but Tamara Jenkins has made a top notch film which deserves it's accolades.
