Review of The Savages (2007) by Amy D — 15 Oct 2009

Good but depressing. So many things are great about this movie: the acting, the screenplay, the direction. But it's too much of a downer to really get excited about. The pacing is pretty good, and the audience really feels the leading lady's inner conflict.

There's a lot of meaning and commentary on modern life and relationships, but for whatever reason this flick just doesn't pop for me. I recommend watching it, though.
