Review of The Sapphires (2012) by Nathan M — 19 Sep 2013
A film that effectively deals with civil rights and race issues in a way that doesn't feel preachy, and actually deals with the human element in these stories. Chris O'Dowd and Deborah Mailman have amazing chemistry, and lead the spectacular cast which win our hearts, even when our mind tells us the script is a little too predictable and pedestrian.
The Sapphires is a winner, and a great, emotion-filled film.
