While it isn't as good story or heartwarming wise as the first one, it is a decent sequel to the first film. This is one of those film series that really didn't need a sequel, but they did it anyways and it ended up being okay.

I didn't really care all that much that Charlie was becoming a delinquent and that he got put on the naughty list and so on. I also don't like Lilana Mumy's role in this film either, I personally don't think she is a very good actor.

.. and her character really tainted this film and it would have been better without her. It is an okay sequel to a decent Christmas movie, just don't watch the third one.
