Santa is back and has to marry in order to maintain his persona. So he seeks out to find a wife. To keep the South Pole running, he basically makes a clone of himself who turns into a dicator. This just didn't work.
It felt more like a romantic comedy for the majority of the film except for the beginning and end where he actually acts and looks like santa clause. Otherwise, he looks normal. Not nearly as fun as the original.
