One big plot hole: The adults believe there is no such thing as Santa. They spend a large portion of the film trying to convince the children he isn't real. So who do they think actually DOES leave the presents under the tree? Santa is real in the film and he leaves presents under the tree.
We see him do it. What are the adults thinking? Plot hole!!
