Review of The Santa Clause (1994) by Michelle L — 06 Dec 2008

I love the Christmas film genre. Every year there are is a new crop, and this is an older one, but a good one. First off, I admit that I cried in this movie...when the ex-wife looks at Tim Allen and says, "You really are him!" I admit, the film made me want to believe in Santa again.

But besides this grand ideal, there were some pretty thin parts--especially the elves. Still, my kids didn't seem to care, so chose to do the same.

I saw Santa Clause 3 in the theater last year I think and don't recall it being as good as this. Ah, the fate of the sequel.
