Review of The Sandlot (1993) by Jon C — 31 Mar 2012
Not too shabby.
Fun baseball flick for young boys.
Some scenes in here though really make me wonder if this is still a family movie.
The infamous lifeguard scene is a crowd-pleaser for the hormonally-stressed males, the chewing tobacco amusement park sequence and the 'Beast' conflict.
Despite that the film is a good look back at childhood and doing the things you'd never had the guts to do in your whole existence.
Its got a good spirit in it all together.
