Maybe I could rate this higher if I was a kid in the 90s. Or in the 60s. Or had nostalgia of backyard baseball friends. Or maybe if I was a fan of the Wonder Years. As it is, this film doesn't speak to me.
And if I want to watch a movie with kids and baseball, I'd rather watch Rookie of the Year.
