Review of The Sandlot (1993) by Eric Vierthaler — 08 May 2009
A classic! A masterpiece! Great movie in every single aspect. I have seen it so many times but I have never gotten tired of it. It's one of my favorite movies EVER! The dog in this movie used to scare the crap outta me when I was little! The dog in this movie kinda reminds me of Cujo [The killer dog from the Stephen King novel and movie.
] just the idea about a killer dog has always sounded creepy to me. And great acting! Great script. Great directing. Great everything. The characters you can actually fall in love with. This movie when I was a kid made me want to play baseball [I don't play baseball anymore.
]. I love every second of this movie. It could never be out done. A remake should never ever be made. The sequels where horrible and should've never even of been made. I loved every single character in this movie.
I loved it when they tried to get there ball back from the dog. The best baseball movie ever made. And one of the greatest movies ever made in the history of the hole entire race of human kind. No joke.
No joke at all. I don't know why I haven't bought the DVD of this movie yet?! I think I might still have it on VHS. My mom loves this movie. Everybody does. If you don't like this movie then go jump off of a cliff! An instant 5 out of 5 stars! A movie I have grew up watching!
