I was happy to find out that this historic movie about 1927 China was not too far off from real events. nothing was looking through rosy glasses. it was very realistic. of course, having steve mcqueen in it helps.
(the reason I watched this) it didn't feel as long as some of the reviewers said. at least not for me.
