This film is a shape-shifting little Shaq attack. Sometimes I watch it and I think it is reaching to be something it isn't. Usually, I watch it and adore it. (Actually, It's not you, Salton Sea, it's me.
) But one thing that never changes for me: Val Kilmer. Val Kilmer in all his tattoo-ed sulking attractiveness, before he got all bloated and puffy in attempts to become the Lion King's greasy understudy.
