First, allow me to freely admit that I am a Wim Wenders Fangirl. I love everything he's done. Next, I am very much a fan of Salgado's work. I know some people find it exploitive, but I disagree.
Humanity mostly sucks, and anyone who doesn't agree isn't paying attention. Someone has to capture that misery to hopefully educate us or at the very least to inform us. Taking the pictures is sad.
Not recording our history would be inexcusable.
