Review of The Sadist (1963) by J K — 27 Jul 2007
Why the hell had I never heard of this before I discovered it in one of those cheap 13 movies on 3 DVD collections?
Definately not perfect but suprisingly tense. Notable for being cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond's (Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, The Deer Hunter) first North American film - and it shows! You'll be hard presed to find another low-budget thriller that looks this good.
