"The Sacrament" fails on the basic level of not following the rules of found footage films, and receives a poor grade for that alone. However, the rest of the film is extremely lackluster. It takes a very real look at a cult, instead of razzle dazzling it up, which should come as a relief but instead just ends up being boring dribble.
