It was both shocking and really good! I never looked away. I've seen most TI West films and this is definitely one of my favorite films he's done besides the really creepy "Inkeepers" movie.
Even though it did take a lot of it's storyline from the Jefferson town massacre story, it still had it's own original twist to it. What I liked so much about it was it was like a true suspenseful horror film verses the slasher films that aren't as scary as something like this that is so messed up it could happen in real life.
