Review of The Running Man (1987) by Clark K — 30 Dec 2008
The 80s vibe, from the fonts to the music to the fashion, coupled with the dystopian future, is spectacular, though probably an acquired taste. The movie has interesting concepts and is satisfying in the end, but the time in the TV show is underutilized, and the movie ignores a lot of logic and sense in the name of entertainment, but it might be too much for the audience to overlook it.
Still, a pretty cool and enjoyable flick.
