Review of The Running Man (1987) by Christopher S — 11 Jul 2012
Stephen King's inventive dystopian satire is very loosely adapted for the screen as this tacky 80s action movie. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a fool of himself as usual (who ever convinced this guy he could act?), though Maria Conchita Alonso doesn't fare much better.
Incredibly cheesy and horribly dated, with ridiculous costumes and goofy action scenes - it's somewhat entertaining in a fun bad movie kind of way, but it really is a terrible film.
