Review of The Running Man (1987) by Brandon W — 17 Jul 2012
"The Running Man" is a good satire of reality-TV programming, pro-wrestling and gladiator type entertainment. It has colourful characters that are memorable (particularly the stalkers , Maria Alonso and Richard Dawson) and has an interesting story.
It's unfortunate that Arnold Schwarzenegger's performance isn't on the same level, because otherwise the film is well made. (Blu-ray, July 14, 2012).
