Review of The Running Man (1987) by Mike B — 06 Oct 2012
A fun one-liner exhibition for Arnold, Man is a light little tale (by Stephen King) that seems to attempt a similar sarcastic 1980s attitude toward television and corporatism as Paul Verhoeven, as well as lays part of the dystopian foundation that novels like Battle Royale and The Hunger Games would later build upon.
The production design is very much a Blade Runner rip off/tribute. (7 October 2012).
