The Rock continues his kick-ass action movie streak with The Rundown. Full of excitement, danger, comedy and some adrenaline pumping fight scenes, The Rundown is pure entertainment at its best.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Seann William Scott make a great team in The Rundown. Bounty hunter, Beck, has one last job until he can get enough money to open up his own restaurant: He must go to Brazil and bring back a mobster's son, Travis. Where Beck goes, you don't want to live. A ruthless town operator slaves the natives to dig for diamonds. But the richest treasure in the land is what Travis won't stop to find. Not a particularly different movie, or one that faces dramatic and emotional issues. But what The Rundown offers is a tale of adventure, trust, and the unstoppable force that is The Rock. With planty to get excited about and plenty to laugh about, The Rundown is an action packed story that stays thuroughly entertaining from beginning to end. The Rock, Scott, and Christopher Walken play the roles they are born to play at their best.

Peter Berg's directing is what makes this movie great. Shots are captured wonderfully, with great pacing and great execution. Plenty of different shots shows great effort put into this movie. The editing is fast and exciting, creating a great blend of action and comedic moods. But when the movie turns into an action movie, it's choreographed scenes and the way they're shot bring out the most in every aspect. And it never slows down one bit. As a matter of fact, the movie's climactic final fight is one of the most exciting and cheer-inducing moments in action movie history. The movies shooting locations are all beautiful choices. It's rainforest setting gives the movie lots of character, going through every terrain and shooting it very well.

Definitely one of The Rock's best movies. The Rundown is a thrill ride from beginning to end and only gets better the more you watch it. This isn't a perfect movie, but it's a perfect action movie you kick back and enjoy.
