Review of The Rundown (2003) by Dale W — 15 May 2010
This is a solid action comedy. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken and Rosario Dawson. Basic plot is this hired thug is sent to the Amazon to bring back this mobster's son.
But he encounters a problem with this diamond operator in a small poor town in the jungle. The film is full of wise cracks, action and fighting. Dwayne Johnson is perfect as the action hero for this film.
Seann William Scott brings the comedy and Christopher Walken is great as the villain. I have watched better action films but this movie did entertain. Well worth a watch for anyone looking to enjoy a solid action comedy.
