Review of The Runaways (2010) by Russell G — 12 Oct 2010
Although the Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning did well the movie's weakness is that it is so Cherri-Centric (it's based on her book) they fail to tell Joan Jett's story well & Lita Ford is a non-factor and the other 2 girls are hardly in the movie at all.
It should have told the story of the band as a group, not just Cherri. It would have been more interesting and made a better movie. It's like making a movie about the Beatles solely through George Harrison's perspective and ignoring John Lennon & Paul McCartney.
