Review of The Runaways (2010) by Sarah E — 02 Dec 2010
The Runaways - Dec 2, 2010.
The energizing and powerful duo of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. The Runaways is a movie based on the 70's all girl rockband with the same name, 'the runaways'.
First formed by joan jett (joan marie larkin) by the help of kim fowley, the runaways quickly stepped into the rock 'n roll stage of legend. The euphoria and the phenomenal all girl rock band that time was critical by their debut, to made a history or rock among other men's rock 'n roll bands.
Stewart as joan jett (lead guitar) and fanning as cherrie curie (vocal) played the key characters in the band and it's path. Being the icon of all girl rock 'n roll band they stumble upon the common issues of rock 'n roll, drugs, free sex, rebel, broken home, and black generation of youth. The Runaways flied and fallen at the same height for the band had seperated by the cause of curie's lost interest and deep depression.
Dakota fanning and kristen stewart played their characters alive in such a fashionable and artistically great view. The best of the biography in years, of a rock n' roll band.
I love the songs, and joan jett's characters played by kristen stewart! She's the sexiest on the band!
