Review of The Runaways (2010) by Blæke W — 20 Feb 2011
Cool movie, rockin the remminicing trip down the old garage days lane, of a all out 70's chick rock band.
A roundabout true recount of a band that made a name for joan jet befor went solo. Sort of a look at tje debut of there singer when an all girl rock band formed, produced gigge and toured its way into the life and home of many and a noteable few the band member themselves, inspired loved and hating oneanother all in he name of good ole rock and roll evolving its merry way into eighties. Some pop hollywood culture for stuggling artists finding there way.
I really liked it and took me back to garage days aswell, in fusion and meshing ideas to grunting pet dislikes righrough to splits and gone separate ways. Playing in a band does somthing for you in a way nothing else can, and should not ever be lost from a person or forgotten. Theve. done A wonderfull thing for these guys even if its not exacty the way it went. top creds.
Each to there own for the likes of this overall (it wasn't great) seemed to slur messages through acts but to tell the truth its the best I've seen from kirstan stewart, she rocked my ball bag :-) and dakota fanning gettin all like miley cyrus, vanity an exploited on us ...I dunno, but she did an excellent job of it, so not her.
