The old rock n roll film is a pretty straight forward and this one is no exceptions. It shows the rise and fall of all girl punk band The Runaways during the 70s. There's sex drugs and rock n roll galore, ya know, the usual stuff.
The film is quite interestingly shot but sorta peters out towards the end. Great acting from Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie and the ever beautiful Kristen Stewart as hard as fuck Joan Jett. Killer fucking soundtrack.
Recommended to any fan of decent music.
