"The Runaways" is a lot of fun only because the band made fun music. Pair that with some dazzling cinematography and three wholly watchable performances from Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Michael Shannon.
What "The Runaways" lacks in originality, emotion and depth, it makes up for with an infectious spunk.
