Review of The Runaways (2010) by Aqua A — 04 Jun 2012

Let me start off by saying that Kristen Stewart is my favorite actress, tied with Ellen Page, and I think that Kristen is the most attractive person ever. But that is not the only reason why I loved this movie although it is one of the reasons.

This movie was totally amazing, great story, amazing acting, great music and even more amazing acting, great cinematography and costumes. This movie is dark and raw and I loved every minute of it. Kristen Stewart's performance in this (NO SUPRISE AT ALL) was AMAZING!!!!.

..her performance in this film would definitly be on my top list. She really looks acts just like Joan Jett, when you look at her and listen to her in this film you don't see Kristen, you see Joan.

..10/10 by her. Dakota Fanning was the same, playing Cherie Currie, she has always been an amazing actress as well and it will come as a shock to no one when their minds are blown by her performance. Michael Shannon is someone that I feel is truly an amazing and inspiring actor who I feel is also underapreciated because he only seems to be getting supporting roles although nothing is wrong with that.

.i feel that he did one of his best performances in this film as well..I don't want to say much because I don't wanna give anything away. The storyline was just as amazing as the acting, 10/10.

..it is raw and vulgar and dark and brilliant...it tells the story about how a group of girls can start off as nobody and turn into the most popular people in the world at the time, it shows that and all the things that they have to do to eachother and to themselves to get there and at some points it can be truly amazing yet intense.

I don't know why I liked the camera angles so much but I really did...the shots with Kristen running at the begning and while Dakota puts on makeup...just little things they did that I enjoyed. Same with the costumes, just little things that made you feel like your actually in that time.

All in all a great film...its on my favorite list...5/5.
