Review of The Rum Diary (2011) by Ilsa W — 12 Nov 2012
The Rum Diary is one of the weirdest movies I have seen this year. The movie tells the tale of corruption in a beautiful country of porto ricco kind of a contradiction to see such a place with a vast contrast between the classes of society. The rich are massively rich and the poor are bellow the poverty line.
Looking at the reality of the country the country has some very beautiful scenery shot in this movie and some shots of the other end of town looking like the sewers. Not a bad true story that is told here. Worth a look.
