It's an interesting premise (Peter O'Toole believes he's Jesus) that is pitched at the same loud, manic tone for its entire runtime. The end result is unfunny and tiresome for very long stretches, with only O'Toole's energy to keep the entire thing from sinking under the weight of its own ego.
