Review of The Rules of Attraction (2002) by Rodney S — 29 Mar 2008
This movie was a boring tangle of three young lives intertwining at an end of semester college party. The only reason it got the second star was for James Van Der Beek's tour de force and often funny portrayal of a sociopathic college freshman.
If the Sams or Savage characters had bigger parts then this film might be a cult classic. Rent this Dvd just for prop comic Carrot Top ripping it a new one in a non-associated, non-endorsed commentary track.
