Review of The Ruins (2008) by Daniel K — 21 Feb 2010

There isn't another Horror film like it and thats one of the main reasons why I liked it so much because its unique. The beginning reminds me of 'Turistas' but as the film goes on it turns into a thrilling story of a group of people trying to stay alive and battle the elements of a Mayan ruin.

I thought the acting was great, with well-written characters, and the storyline worked well with a good solid ending, with an even better ending in the alternate ending on the DVD :D Overall I highly enjoyed it and would defintley reccomend it to Horror fans :).
