Review of The Ruins (2008) by Lee B — 18 Feb 2010
Standard horror fare but has some decent shock element which I liked, with the vines being a fairly decent 'baddy'. Saw this on Blu-ray and the quality of the scenery is amazing, I aint ever going back to DVD!
This wont let you down as a horror, but wont be the best film you'll ever see.
If you want a film of a bunch of young people encountering underground horrors then watch 'The Descent' instead.
