Review of The Ruins (2008) by Jordan R — 22 Jul 2011
While not faithful to the book, The Ruins still manages to carry over some of the greatness of Scott Smith's masterpiece. The biggest issue I hold with the movie is in the special effects which , without giving away the plot, hold a lot of weight with the story.
Still a somewhat enjoyable watch overall.
