Review of The Rugby Player (2013) by Trace E — 04 Oct 2013
Went and saw this today as part of the Out on Film Festival. I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful and compelling documentary. Scott Gracheff took and crafted this historical story from years of video and personal interviews. The movie is actually a snapshot in time. What was most impressive was that the movie is not only about "The Rugby Player" but about "The Rugby Players Mother...".
Too often we hear that there are no longer any American Heroes. In 80 minutes this film dispels those notions and gives us two examples. Thank You Mark..... Thank You Alice and Thank You Scott for bringing this story to the world.
