Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Katrina L — 06 Jan 2013
My favorite Wes Anderson creation. A dysfunctional family and all their quirks shown in cinema has never been more sweet and witty. From the beautiful opening credits to the closing, Royal Tenenbaums is balanced and just cool.
The colour pallet and costume design is befitting of the direction style and renders the background almost as much of a character from shot to shot as any of Wes Anderson's living breathing troupe that he frequents.
