Review of The Rover (2014) by Fritz F — 05 Aug 2014
Even if you have no idea what the hell is going on in the first half of "The Rover", stick around because narrative won't really mean a thing until the last shot of the movie. This film is impeccably shot and beautifully staged, but the thing that astonished me the most about this film is how a perfectly casted Guy Pearce was out-acted by Robert Pattinson.
Seriously, all his previous roles are forgiven after such a terrific performance in this film.
