Review of The Rover (2014) by Jason T — 21 Nov 2014
The Rover is a unmecryful, hard and the same time beautiful film. Sound and background music are astounding and blends perfectly I think, with the fine cinematography. Good performances espacially from Pattinson and Pearce.
The moral of the main character is very questionable and is not in a useful term, a nice guys. Pattinson plays a completly other character than what I thought he would, which is really nice to see, and for me he is the best character in the movie.
The short but suspensful scenes work but its a long drawn out movie and not much really happens. The final scene of this film hits you like a brick and if I could have had more sympathy for Praces' character it would be more hitting than it was.
