Review of The Roommate (2011) by Daniel E. M — 23 May 2011
One cannot deny the fact that we've seen this all before. College girl gets a roommate that appears to be friendly at first, then quickly becomes psychotic and overbearing. The film is mostly just an updated version of "Single White Female" except it lacks beleiveble acting, and hearting pounding suspense.
The films redeeming qualities are the acting, and over all; the unintentionally hilarious dialogue. Is this as bad as critics are saying? most definetly. But if you want to get enjoyment out of this crap, watch it with friends, and have yourselves a good laugh.
