Review of The Roommate (2011) by Lucciano V — 17 Jun 2011
I know that, some of my friends, have told me that The Roommate is a better psychological thriller film than Black Swan. To be honest, I disagree with those who believe the same.
The Roommate is not as near as good as Black Swan, not even close. The acting was horrible, the screenplay was lousy, The Scares are cheap except for the girl in the bed that pops out screaming. That was the only thing I liked about the film, but the rest was in a train wreck.
If you want to see a very good psychological thriller, watch Black Swan. Natalie Portman did better then Leighton Meester. Darren Aronofsky could easily out do this movie if he were to do a remake and it would still be better than Christian E Christiansen the director of the film. Why is it better than Black Swan. It didnt even mess with my mind at all.
Only Black Swan was able to bring a new level to psychological thrillers. The Roommate was simply predictably boring. DX.
